The companies roots go back to 1980 when it was founded by the
same family members that run it today. The company initially
started off building just 2-3 houses per annum in the North
of Ireland and as the demand for houses increased the company
grew and started to build more houses. Within 10 years the family
run business had become renowned throughout Northern Ireland
for quality housing.
In 1993 the company expanded into the Republic of Ireland and
also diversified into acquiring Country Estates. Originally,
the intention was to acquire these properties in a state of
disrepair and return them to their former glory. This worked
well. Within 5 years, 3 of these Country Estates remained in
the group’s portfolio and the decision was taken to turn
them into exclusive golf resorts. Planning was approved and
both Moyvalley and New Forest are now open. Two more courses
(Whitfield Court and Marcevol) are currently going through the
planning process. As the Irish Economy, The Celtic Tiger, enjoyed
tremendous growth so did Eassda and soon became one of Irelands
largest privately owned property developers.
In 1996 the group expanded into Scotland, this time diversifying
into the Leisure Industry with the acquisition of a holiday
park.
Eassda continues to expand its Scottish Division and now has
a large holiday park and also builds houses throughout Scotland.
Eassda continues to grow currently building houses throughout
the U.K and Ireland.
Property development has always been the main stay of the group
and has enabled us to expand across the U.K and Ireland.
