Eassda International Childcare Foundation was setup as a registered charity in 2003. Eassda have been sponsoring children since 1992 but as more children were being sponsored the group felt it was time to set up a registered charity.

The foundation currently sponsors children throughout Africa, India and Brazil in places such as Haiti, Burundi, Kenya and Zambia for example. In 1998 members of the family travelled to Haiti to visit some of the children in the programme. It was a very humbling experience for all who visited. The programme helps the children and there families through providing clothing, school education and food. This also provides the children with a sense of belonging and one of the requirements is that they attend church in keeping with the families faith.

The program is run through International Child Care Ministries which is a part of the Free Methodist Church World Missions. This system benefits the children more as it not only provides aid but it educates the people academically, through day to day living and they learn about the word of God and hopefully gain a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
